Ribbon Wrapped Favor Boxes

Here is a simple way to dress up a plain favor box for a Wedding, Bridal Shower, Birthday Party or other special occasion.

To create this favor you will need one favor box, 18 inches of 7/8″ width favor ribbon, and one personalized favor magnet. The favor boxes used measure 4-9/16″ x 3-9/16″ x 1-1/4″ high and can hold approximately 1/4 pound of small chocolates or candies, or a small gift for your guests. These boxes are available in white, red, green, brown, burgundy, black, gold, silver and marble pattern. The magnets used measure 3-1/2″ x 2″.

Assembly is easy!

Option 1:  fill favor boxes with a nice treat for your guests. Wrap the ribbon around the outside and tape or hot glue together at the bottom of the box, trimming off any excess ribbon.  Attach the magnet to the top of the box with double sided tape or hot glue.

Option 2: This option will allow your guests to open the boxes without undoing the ribbon, but will take a little extra time to assemble.  Attach the ribbon to flat unfolded boxes with tape or hot glue, wrapping around the front edges into the inside of the box.  Take care to insure the ribbon will line up when the box is folded and closed.  Fold boxes and fill with treats for your guests.  Attach the magnet to the top of the box with double sided tape or hot glue.

**Note – do not use regular paper or wood glue to attach the magnet, the residue will stay on the magnet and render is unusable as a magnet when removed from the favor box.
